Part 2: Follow up from out first stranger session
Hey, fabulous friends!
Prepare yourselves for an enchanting journey as we unravel the story of Willow and Jasper's unforgettable Stranger Session. Picture this: a mix of nerves and excitement brewing in Jasper's heart as he stepped into uncharted territory, while Willow, feeling the weight of anticipation, couldn't shake off the butterflies fluttering in her stomach. Jasper was early after a hectic morning and I got to know him a little better and even found out he was referred to me from a long time friend. Our first time meeting; Sweet, handsome and authentic- I was impressed. Willow scurried in excited and frazzled from trying to park in the crazy one way streets of Detroit but was clearly excited and absolutely adorable.
Their initial meeting in front of the camera was nothing short of magical. Jasper, with no expectations, found himself pleasantly surprised by the unique experience, even embracing the noticeable height difference. She said she wanted tall ya'll, I delivered! Willow, approaching the session with an open heart, discovered that the vibe exceeded any preconceived notions, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter, authenticity, and unscripted moments.
The lens, known to capture the soul's essence, turned out to be a friend to both Willow and Jasper. Amidst the laughter-filled frames were prompts that sparked genuine joy. Me- your photographer, pretending my best to be a puppet master of love, orchestrated moments with some of my favorite prompts. In the laughing images where you think "they just met, what are they laughing about?!" Well... I had her whisper her favorite cereal in his ear, and had him return the favor with his preferred toothpaste. Its just silly and easy enough to create the perfect moment! Laughter echoed through the air, breaking any lingering awkwardness and setting the stage for an unexpectedly heartwarming connection.
As they danced through the photography setting, it became clear that this blind date was far from ordinary. The unique backdrop of the Guardian Building in Detroit added a layer of excitement and provided them with a fantastic story to share – a story that felt like a whimsical blend of fate, laughter, and the unmistakable magic of love. When asked about the most shocking moments they both mentioned the cheek kiss! Jasper admitted to turning red (as if the lens didn't catch that!) and Willow said she was shocked how willingly and happily she did it! And I...melted before the screen reading those answers.
Post-shoot, the laughter continued to reverberate in the air as Willow and Jasper stayed, indulging in a conversation that meandered through pet stories, summertime obsessions, and the delightful surprises that unfolded during the shoot.
Now, as they reflect on their experience, both express a genuine desire to see each other again. Jasper, physically attracted to Willow, sees potential for a romantic connection, while Willow who sharing the same sentiment, looks forward to unraveling more layers of Jasper's intriguing personality.
