Hi Friends! If you haven’t guessed, I’m K Marie- better known as Karla. I’m a passionate, idealistic, romantic visionary who loves deep and believes that every moment holds the potential for a beautiful story waiting to be told. I fell in love with photography in High School... and then life happened. Once I hit 30 I decided I'd spend my life making memories rather than leave this world with unfulfilled dreams.. and here I am!

Mom of two wild boys who've completely stolen my heart in ways I never imagined and can't forget our furry bestie, Tito, the best adventure companion! Avid romance novel reader, tattoo loving, traveler who thrives off order but believes life is truly found amidst the chaos. Born and raised in Wayne County, MI and now living in Oakland county, MI.

I want to tell stories. I want you to feel when you look at my images. I want to capture the fleeting moments that will be gone before we know it. The smiles shared between lovers, the way a Mom looks at her child, the way a family interacts (because truly no two are the same!)

I am the person who helps you relax in front of the camera. Five minutes with me and I’ll have you laughing and goofing around! That’s where the magic happens. My clients have described me as fun, laid back and able to quickly put them at ease. Let’s hang out! I’ll go on a coffee date with you and your partner, head to the park with you and the kiddos or wherever your happy place is, so that we can capture you in your element. Real. Candid. Alive.
