Nova & Riot- Match made in cityscape heaven

Hey there, fellow adventurers! Are you ready to dive into a story that's part romance, part photography, and all kinds of fun? Well, buckle up because I'm about to spill the tea on the most epic blind date I've ever orchestrated. I should be humble, maybe I will be tomorrow, but today, this Photographer is on FIRE! Picture this: a bustling cityscape, the hum of excitement in the air, a rainy foggy day and two strangers on the brink of a potentially life-changing encounter. Yep, that's the vibe of Detroit, the backdrop for our latest matchmaking escapade.

So, what's the deal with this blind date, you ask? Well, let me break it down for you. I run these rad sessions where I pair up total strangers based on a few key criteria: age, shared interests, life goals, and of course, astrological signs. Sounds like a recipe for love, right? We call them Stranger Sessions. You show up to your "blind date" and immediately go into a couples photoshoot. Potentially awkward but also what an experience! At the very least you have an awesome bar story next time you are with your friends.

Our stars of the show this time around? Let's call them Nova and Riot. Both in their mid-thirties, craving adventure, and on the hunt for someone who's as down-to-earth as they are. Oh, and did I mention they're a Cancer and a Leo? Cue the cosmic fireworks! But here's the kicker: Before the session even began, Nova messaged me about what to wear. She described her outfit: black Converse, leather jacket, and a Carhart hat. And right then, I knew it was a match made in Detroit heaven because that's exactly Riot's style. Talk about fate, am I right, or am I right? I'm right.

Blindfolded, nerves were high, but so was the excitement. While Riot was a little more nervous, Nova exuded a quiet confidence. But hey, that's what makes these sessions so exhilarating, right? As the shutter clicked away, I watched their chemistry unfold before my very eyes. Laughter filled the air, sparks flew, and before we knew it, they were exchanging numbers. Sure, I pose you, tell you what to do and where to look BUT once the pose is over I tell you to relax, and snap a few shots while you do. When I did, I noticed Nova's hand still clenching onto Riots coat, no direction from me whatsoever. Insert love drunk sigh from your favorite Photographer here..

But alas, all good things must come to an end, and our time together eventually came to a close. Despite their budding connection, real life beckoned, and Nova had friends waiting for her. But fear not, dear readers, for this is just the beginning of their story. So, what's next for our dynamic duo? Well, only time will tell. But one thing's for sure: they've got each other's numbers, a shared sense of adventure, and a whole city of possibilities at their fingertips.

As for me, I couldn't be prouder of playing matchmaker and capturing their journey on camera. After all, love (or at least a great friendship) is always in the air when you're behind the lens. I even teased them a little and told them that if I'm not the wedding photographer, I'ma be big mad. We shall see! Either way, for now, my work here is done!
