Stranger session, take 2: we will call them noah & Allie <3

Hey there, fellow romantics! 🌹

You know those moments that just make your heart skip a beat? Well, let me tell you about the latest adventure in my world of photography – it's a tale of blindfolded matchmaking, frozen fingertips, and maybe, just maybe, a dash of destiny! 💫 As a photographer, I've always been fascinated by the serendipitous moments that bring people together. But let's be real – I'm also a sucker for all things love. Give me those head-over-heels, butterflies-in-the-stomach moments any day! Love isn't just a feeling for me; it's an adrenaline rush, a wild ride that keeps me on the edge of my seat, hungry for more. So yeah, you could say I'm totally, unabashedly, madly in love with love.

So, picture this: Noah and Allie, two strangers with a thirst for adventure and a sprinkle of curiosity. I had this wild idea to bring them together, blindfolded and all, in the frosty embrace of a Michigan winter. Why? Because who needs Tinder when you've got fate and a Photographer on your side, am I right? 😜 Now, let's talk matchmaking magic. Noah and Allie? Total puzzle pieces waiting to click! They're both in their thirties, basically allergic to smoke but totally smitten with the idea of future mini-mes. Plus, their astrological alignment? Off the charts! Sagittarius meets Pisces – cue the cosmic sparks and wanderlust vibes! Oh, and did I mention they're practically neighbors? It's like fate was playing matchmaker, and I was just along for the ride. 🌟

So armed with my camera, my longtime friend playing assistant and a little bit of hope it was time. Cut to the big moment – blindfolds off, butterflies in the stomach, and bam! Noah's standing there with flowers for his date, like a true gentleman. Cue the squeals and the heart-flutters because, folks, this is where the magic happens! 🥰 Completely unscripted and unprompted from me, as I snapped away capturing their first look at one another, their first instinct was to embrace. Full on, wide open arms, big ol' bear hug. Gosh, I'm good! (insert an image in your mind of me blowing my nails and polishing them on my shirt because I am just so damn proud of myself and you'd be spot on!)

From there, it was a whirlwind of laughter, stolen glances, and shared moments captured through my lens. And let me tell you, Michigan winters are no joke – chattering teeth and all! But amidst the cold, there was warmth – a connection brewing between two brave souls who took a chance on love. As the session came to an end and Noah and Allie bid farewell, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that I had played a small part in bringing them together. On my drive home, my assistant's excitement was palpable as we discussed the shoot and shared our thoughts. And then, as if on cue, we spotted Noah and Allie walking down the street together, heading towards a cozy coffee shop. Can you say serendipity?

In that moment, I realized that love knows no boundaries – not even blindfolds or first impressions. Noah and Allie's story is a testament to the power of fate and the beauty of unexpected connections forged in the most unlikely of circumstances. As a photographer, I've witnessed countless love stories unfold before my lens. But Noah and Allie's blindfolded encounter will always hold a special place in my heart, reminding me that sometimes, the most extraordinary love stories begin with a leap of faith and a blindfolded embrace. Both of our brave souls who took a chance on love today have promised me the details of the experience through their eyes, and to spill the tea on what came after the date! Stay tuned for more updates because, trust me, this love story is just getting started. And hey, if you're a MetroDetroit single ready to take a chance, head to the Stranger Sessions tab on my website and apply – who knows, you might just find your own blindfolded adventure! 😘

Until next time, keep believing in the magic of love!

XOXO,

Karla 💖
